England and Tottenham captain Harry Kane is set to be awarded the Freedom of the City of London.
The 29-year-old striker has been given it in recognition of his outstanding sporting achievements the City of London Corporation said, and will be awarded it at a ceremony in January.
Kane began his professional career in 2009 and was promoted to Spurs' senior squad aged 16 under then manager Tim Sherwood.

He has since gone on to win a host of awards including: PFA Young Player of the Year, three Premier League Golden Boots, the World Cup 2018 Golden Boot, and Premier League Playmaker of the Season.
Additionally, Kane became only the second England player to score 51 goals for his country, when he scored a penalty in a friendly against Germany.
This freedom will accompany his current MBE from 2019, which was awarded for his services to football.
The corporation's policy chairman Chris Hayward said the award for Kane was "richly deserved".
Reacting to the news Kane said: "It's a proud moment for myself and my family, and a real honour to be recognised by the city I grew up in and love."
