Lewis Hamilton dedicated his win at the Portuguese Grand Prix to his Mercedes team after he picked up his 92nd F1 victory to surpass Michael Schumacher’s all-time leading record on Sunday.

"I could only ever have dreamed of being where I am today. Hamilton said.
"I didn't have a magic ball when I chose to come to this team and partner with these great people, but here I am.” We’re all rowing in the same direction.”
The 35 year old fell to third in the first couple of laps due to slight rain on the first few corners, and that saw Carlos Sainz and Valtteri Bottas overtake him, but Hamilton battled back to crush Bottas’s hopes of spoiling the party.
“We had some spitting (rain) just at the start and then we got in to turn seven, and you didn’t know what was next, so I really backed off, said Hamilton. “Arguably I should have defended from Valtteri, but I felt I’d come back later on, and that’s what I was able to do”.
The Englishman also said towards the final stages of the race that he was battling with cramp. “It’s a physically demanding sport and I had cramp in my right calf, so I was lifting down the straight as it was about to pull. “It was pretty painful, but I had to get through it.”
“It’s going to take some time for it to sink in, I’m still in race mode mentally, I can’t find the words at the moment.”
