Tyson Fury beat Derek Chisora for the third time to defend his WBC heavyweight title at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Saturday night.

In a dominant display from Fury, he subjected Chisora to sustained punishment until nine seconds left in the 10th round as referee Victor Loughlin stepped in to wave it off.

It was a bright start to the fight from Chisora, who started off jabbing to the body and chest, putting Fury into a corner. However, this soon dissipated as Fury shot a right quickly down to connect and then sent Chisora back with a sharp left, showing he could strike suddenly at any time with hurtful combinations.

Chisora then sent a right over the top, connecting with Fury, but the WBC champion swayed back sharply from another Chisora right hand and countered with a powerful shot of his own.

Fury hit his right to the body and then to the head, with a huge uppercut hurting Chisora in the second round.

By the third round, Fury was in complete command, showboating, winding up his backhand before striking his opponent.

To combat the onslaught, Chisora switched to a southpaw stance, but it was not enough to wave off the storm heading his way from Fury.

As Chisora came forward, Fury found much success with his left, hitting both the head and body, with Chisora showing very little defensive capabilities.

In a war of attrition, Fury continued to grind him down. forcing his opponent into the corner in the ninth round, landing heavy punches.

From the punishment, the challenger sustained a swollen lump beneath his right eye, but he kept coming forward.

In the 10th round, it was clear Chisora needed a knockout punch to turn the tide, and in doing so allowed Fury to land many more heavy blows, and the referee waved the fight off at two minutes and 51 seconds.

Shortly after the fight, Fury was joined in the ring by the WBO, WBA and IBF Heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, who shared heated words as talk about a unification fight continues.

Joe Joyce, the WBO's 'Interim' titlist also joined them in the ring, and declared his interest in fighting one of Fury or Usyk.
